Our motto is for Christians by Christians. We believe in not just providing apparel but also spreading the message of Christ.

OUR MISSION:

Our number 1 priority is to tell someone about Jesus. We started this brand because we wanted a business that would glorify God. 1 Corinthians 10 tells us that whatever we do, whether eating or drinking or anything we do, do it for the glory and honor of God. So our mission is to uplift Christ while providing fashionable clothing.

THE PEOPLE BEHIND THE SCENES:

We want to emphasize this major fact. We are not just a brand that sells Christian clothing. We ourselves, are Christian people. In fact, our founder is an ordained minister and preacher. Some brands sell clothing that has Christian sayings or quotes, but we design and sell apparel that we believe will make an impact on someone who sees, and hopefully, it gets them thinking a little.

OUR BRAND:

Newerahope was started by our founder, Martonio Backstrom, in January of 2020. It started as just an idea to sell t-shirts to push the message, but then became something completely different. Today our brand is a staple for all believers who believe not only in being saved but being fresh while doing it. We recognize the culture that we are in and we plan to make a lasting impact. Not many brands today Glorify God, we believe that we will be the hope for the new era. We are based in Michigan, that is where all of our products ship from.

ABOUT OUR FOUNDER:

Martonio Backstrom, born and raised in Flint, Michigan. He developed a love for Christ at a young age, his mother believed in raising her children in the church so from adolescence to adulthood he has always had a love for the church. He truly comes from humble beginnings, living in a single-parent home with a mother who had 10 children, he developed an entrepreneur mindset very young. Having attempted many unsuccessful business endeavors, he eventually gave up his Dream. It wasn't until 2017 when he got back in church and gave his life to Christ again that his dream would be sparked. After serving in the church for a few years, he was officially ordained as a minister in December of 2019. From there, with much prayer, he would go on to seek his dream of being an entrepreneur again but this time with the mindset to glorify God, not man.
